Use of dipping solutions, anti-tarnish cloths, abrasive cleansers, machine polishers, or anything other than a soft, clean cloth may damage the piece. The degree of exposure to soapy water, lotions, hairspray, or other environmental elements will determine how long your engraved jewelry maintains its new look. These factors also determine the length of time that the black treatment will remain in the engraving.
