"With the 10th anniversary of 9/11 coming up, we're seeing that people want a visible reminder of the universal themes that connect all human beings," according to Denver-based jeweler B.B. Becker.
If you ask any person that you meet, many of them remember where they were on September 11, 2001. As a former New Yorker myself, (born and raised,) the events of that day will never leave my memory, especially as of the last week or so in watching Hurricane Irene tear through the eastern coast line. Hurricane Katrina rings fresh in my mind as I watched rioters looting in London. We are all no stranger to these types of events and devistation. The question is: "What can we turn to when we need hope?"
The answer is different for many- a friend, work, religion, or simply, a few words can raise one's spirit.
As we reach the 10th anniversary of September 11th, what are some words or quotations
that give you hope and inspiration in remembering those we lost?
